The library is our friend

Our local library has Story Time for several weeks in the fall, spring and summer semesters.  I've been taking Taylor there since she was two years old and she has always loved it.  They don't just read stories during Story Time, but they sing songs, watch a short video and do a fun craft.

Even when Story Time isn't in session, she still likes to go to the library to check out a movie and books and to play on the computer.

As a book lover myself, it's always been a good time for the two of us.  When Rylan was born, it became a bit more challenging, but the three of us still find time to go to the library. As Rylan has gotten older (and especially once he became mobile and didn't always have to be confined to the stroller), he has come to enjoy the library as well.

Outside of our library is a beautiful fountain area and, when the weather is nice, the kids enjoys running around the fountain area and playing in the water a bit.

The story time for Taylor's age is on Thursday mornings, which is one of the days Taylor is in school, so we haven't gone to the library much since this summer.  Once Rylan turns two, maybe he and I can bond during Story Time as well :0)
